The Warangal District Consumer Forum has reserved its judgment in a case filed against New Holland Tractors (Manufacturer), K.S. Tractors (Warangal), Sri Lakshmi Motors (Siddipet), and Srilatha Tractors (Choppadandi) over major service deficiency and unfair trade practices.
The complainant alleged that the wrong tractor model was delivered by Authorised Dealer of New Holland tractors and faced ₹2,50,000 in losses due to Deficiency in service of Dealers, warranty violations, and fraudulent business practices. Despite multiple complaints, the manufacturer and dealers failed to resolve the issues, forcing legal action.
After hearing both sides, the Warangal district consumer forum has reserved the case for orders, with a judgment expected very soon. This case could set a key precedent for consumer rights in the agricultural sector.
