Telangana Panchayat Raj Elections 2025: Draft Schedule Released

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Election Commission (TSEC) has released the draft election program for the 2nd Ordinary Elections to Panchayat Raj Bodies 2025, including Gram Panchayats (GPs), Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (MPTCs), and Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies (ZPTCs).

The elections will be conducted in three phases across the state, starting from October 9, 2025, with polling scheduled between October 23 and November 8, 2025.

Phase 1 – MPTCs/ZPTCs

• Issue of Notification: 9 October 2025 (Thursday)

• Last Date for Nominations: 11 October 2025 (Saturday, 5:00 PM)

• Scrutiny of Nominations: 12 October 2025 (Sunday)

• Withdrawal of Candidature: 15 October 2025 (Wednesday, before 3:00 PM)

• Publication of Contesting Candidates: 15 October 2025 (after 3:00 PM)

• Polling Date: 23 October 2025 (Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Counting of Votes: 11 November 2025 (Tuesday, 8:00 AM onwards)

• Results Declaration: Same day after counting.
