The Telangana High Court has approved changes to the answer keys of selected questions in the recruitment examinations conducted for Junior Assistant, Field Assistant, Examiner and Record Assistant posts. The court has also decided to award one additional mark to all candidates in certain questions.
The decision was communicated through a notification issued on September 21, 2026, bearing R.O.C. No. 1278/2025-RC. The notification follows the examination of objections submitted by candidates regarding questions and answer options in the computer-based examinations held on June 24, 25 and 28, 2026.
Seven Questions Revised for Junior Assistant
The High Court approved changes to seven questions in the Junior Assistant examination. The questions relate to Norway, Israel, Altar, E-20, Karnataka, Verb and Naive. The notification includes answer key revisions and the award of one mark to all candidates in certain cases.
Changes in Field Assistant and Examiner Exams
Two questions in the Field Assistant category were addressed. One mark was awarded to all candidates for the question concerning Article 214, while the answer to another question was changed to “I have forgotten.”
For the Examiner post, four questions were revised. The notification lists changes concerning 181, EBACD, “for” and “Accompany”, including an additional mark for all candidates in one question.
Five Questions Revised for Record Assistant
The answer keys for five Record Assistant questions were revised. These questions relate to “Ran out”, “Diagnosis”, “Speaking”, “Exceptionally” and “By the People”. One of the questions also carries an additional mark for all candidates.
Remaining Objections Rejected
The High Court examined objections raised against other question IDs listed in the notification. It stated that the remaining objections were unsustainable and rejected them.

₹100 Refund for Accepted Objections
Candidates whose objections were considered and accepted by the High Court will receive a refund of ₹100 paid online for each objection, according to the notification.
